Convention Planning Committee
The Convention Planning Committee's mission is to develop the panels for the Convention and identify presenters for those panels.

Education Committee
The Education Committee’s mission is to develop programs, workshops, seminars, online learning and other activities designed to provide ongoing education to the membership, as well as conduct needs analyses to determine industry requirements.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee’s mission is to review CFA’s annual budget, take a first look at financial statements and the annual audit, as well as assist in drafting a new investment policy and having quarterly conference calls with the investment manager.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee’s mission is to study and evaluate procedures for accepting members, develop plans for retaining and increasing membership, study potential new types of membership and review prospective applicants for membership.

Advocacy Committee
The Advocacy Committee’s mission is to identify and prioritize public policy issues which are important to CFA membership; to formulate CFA’s position on those issues and work with CFA staff to develop advocacy initiatives to educate policy makers about those positions and about the ABL and factoring industries in general. The Committee works with CFA staff on the implementation of various advocacy initiatives.

Committee on Cooperation with Accountants
The Committee on Cooperation with Accountant’s mission is to maintain a link between CFA and the various state and local CPA societies in order to familiarize the accounting profession with the services asset-based lending provides to the business community.

 

Committee on Factoring (Traditional)
The Committee on Factoring’s mission is to provide, through the forum of CFA programs for members engaged in factoring, to include but not be limited to, education, public relations, legal documentation, etc.

 

Entrepreneurial Finance & Factoring Committee
The Entrepreneurial Finance & Factoring Committee’s mission is to study and establish services to meet the needs and requirements of the entrepreneurial finance and factoring organizations, as well as provide a forum to discuss problems of mutual concern.
